Laura’s corporate career began at Patagonia Sportswear, a company recognized for its unique and highly successful approach to employee engagement, quality products and service, She managed a Human Resources office and carried-out employee relations and cultural assessment for over 500 retail and corporate staff. Upon leaving Patagonia, Laura moved to Seattle and began work as a consultant for Drake, Beam, Morin, Inc., a global consulting firm specializing in change management and career transition.
Upon leaving Drake, Beam, Morin Laura started her own consulting firm where she has facilitated board development, executive coaching and strategic planning in a range of companies. Clients have included City of Bellevue, Nordstrom, Port of Seattle, Microsoft, Starbucks, and Philips Medical Systems to name a few. Laura moved back to Wyoming in 2008 and expanded her consulting practice. In early 2015 Laura was asked to join the leadership team at Sheridan Memorial Hospital as their Chief Strategic Officer and in July 2017 returned to work full-time with Peak Consulting.
She is an active community volunteer and has served on the board of directors for the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce and Society of Human Resource Management. She is currently board president for SAGE Community Arts and is a member of the Civil Service Commission for the Sheridan Police Department. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Northern Arizona University and studied in the master’s program at the Leadership Institute of Seattle.

Stacia has over 20 year’s experience in the human resources field. Over the past 11 years she has been providing consulting to both for profit and non-profit organizations. She has held human resources and management roles in industries spanning retail, communications, hospitality, and food and beverage.
She recognizes that businesses often do not have the means to hire a full-time human resource person or maintain an HR department, yet so many have employee-related needs and challenges. In these situations, she provides clients with innovative HR solutions that are easy to implement. Her passion for human resources is clear, as is her down-to-earth realistic approach to assisting clients in solving their workplace issues.
Stacia received her bachelor of science degree from Iowa State University and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM-CP. She has served as the president of the board of directors for the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce and the local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Janis DeVore possesses a unique combination of formal legal education, small business ownership, human resources expertise, and management consulting experience. In her over 25 years of professional experience she has worked as a law clerk for the Wyoming Supreme Court, compliance officer for a large employers’ association, an adjunct college professor and human resources director for two regional companies.
Owning a small business enhanced her understanding of the unique problems small businesses face and rekindled her desire to help them become more successful. Her areas of expertise include leadership development, employment law compliance, dispute resolution, workplace investigations, executive coaching, employee relations, human resources start-up and process improvement.
Consulting clients include Peterbilt of Wyoming, Jonah Bank, Nerd Gas Company, and M & N Aviation; regional businesses including Winco, Capital City Development Corp., Western Aircraft, and Napa Auto Parts, Bigelow Tea, Syngenta, Securitas, and BlackHawk! Products Group. Non-profit clients include the Boise Rescue Mission, Family Advocates, and the Legacy Pregnancy Center.
Janis has a B.S. in Organizational Communication with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from the University of Utah. She received her law degree from the University of Wyoming and won the national title of American Bar Association Client Counseling Competition. She has volunteered for multiple professional, civic and faith-based organizations over the years.
